Originally from the Saguenay – Lac-Saint- Jean region in Québec, Guillaum W. Dubreuil
has successfully managed or participated in multiple electoral campaigns, from municipal
elections in Montréal to the 2010 Midterm election campaign in New Hampshire for the
Guillaum studied psychology at the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi and business at
the Université du Québec à Montréal. In 2008, he founded his own public affairs firm and
worked with many association clients. He then joined the team at the Association of
Universities and Colleges of Canada (now Universities Canada) in 2012. He went on to
work as Director, International Affairs and Public Affairs at Languages Canada before
joining the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in 2015.
In addition to his role at the Chamber, Guillaum has a weekly radio segment on economic
affairs and sits on the board of Women in Communications and Technology (National
Capital Region) as well as on the board of the Regroupement des jeunes chambres de
commerce du Québec.
His experience at combining political knowledge and media expertise allow him to
efficiently convey the Chamber’s messages and react to the key issues of the day. An
engaging communicator, Guillaum can efficiently explain the toughest issues in simple
terms and in both Official Languages.
