Event description

Older adults are the fastest growing segment of Canada’s population. By 2036, approximately one quarter of the population will be over 65. As this segment grows, issues related to substance use are expected to become more prevalent. Older Canadians who are taking various medications along with alcohol and other substances are facing unique dangers related to addiction.

On November 13, iPoliticsLIVE will broadcast live from the Canadian Centre on Substance Use and Addiction Issues of Substance conference in Calgary, Alberta.  Here an expert panel of thought leaders on this issue will deliver insights on the issue and discuss the changes and innovations required to support our aging population.

Note this is a broadcast only event.  For registration for the conference, please see registration link below.
